NEW YORK (Press release) - Rabanes performs in New York City at the legendary New York nightclub Copacabana on Friday October 18, 2002

Crescent Moon Records, Panamanian Latin/Rock Trio, RABANES who has taken the music industry by storm with their release of their Bi-Lingual CD MONEY PA'QUE (MONEY FOR WHAT) will perform in New York City for the grand re-opening weekend of the legendary New York nightclub the Copacabana on Friday October 18, 2002.

The Copacabana nightclub was made Internationally notorious by Barry Manilow and among the big names in the music industry who performed there have included Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis Jr, Tony Bennett, Harry Belafonte, Marc Anthony, Celia Cruz, Enrique Iglesias and Tito Puente.

Rabanes has performed to standing ovation crowds in Latin America, Mexico, Argentina, Spain and Puerto Rico and are very excited to be performing in New York. They'll bring their sound of multi-layered rhythms marked by a fusion of Ska, Caribbean, Reggae, Rap and Rock. They'll treat us with songs from their 2001 Grammy nominated album which features the hit single "My Commanding Wife" as well as songs from their new album including the hit singles "Everybody" and "Bam Bam".
Rabanes consists of Emilio Regueira (lead singer/guitarist) bassist Christian Torres and drummer, Javier Saavedra
