(Launch) - The Dave Matthews Band has apologized to its fans for the "very poor job" by security at the group's recent performance at Washington D.C.'s RFK Stadium, saying that it would "carefully evaluate any future show that we may consider at this venue." "The local security and ushering staff at RFK focused more on ejecting enthusiastic and excited fans than staying in their positions and keeping things under control" at the June 9 show, the group says in a note posted on its official Web site, DaveMatthewsBand.com. "Despite pleas from us in the band and our tour management staff, our fans continued to be thrown out and local security problems persisted throughout the show." "We want to apologize to those of you who were inconvenienced by what occurred," the note continues. "This is not the way we want to see our fans treated."
