MOJO Magazine Honors Dale Hawkins

London, UK. (Top40 Charts/ MOJO Magazine) - England's premier music magazine, MOJO, has honored DALE HAWKINS with two "Best Ofs" in its 2007 Year End Review Issue. Hawkins was cited at No 8 in the Reissue Category for "LA, Memphis and Tyler, Texas,"
and at No 10 in the Americana category for his newest release, "Back Down to Louisiana."

"Back Down to Louisiana" was picked up last fall by Proper Distribution in London for all overseas markets, and had an official street date of January 15 in the US through Burnside Distribution.

Hawkins works regularly in the US and overseas - he will next perform in Dallas at the Ultimate Doo Wop Show January 26. He will take part in the Burnside Showcase at SXSW March 14 at Threadgill's in Austin, TX (with Johnny J and Rockin Billy), and at the Ultimate Doo Wop Shows in Seattle April 12 and Atlanta May 10.
Dale is also participating in the following educational events - "Shreveport Music in Black and White" in Ruston, LA April 26, and a "Louisiana Hayride" panel at the Ponderosa Stomp in New Orleans. He will then make a return visit to Hemsby in London, England in May.
