LOS ANGELES (Official Fans Website) - Grammy winning Mexican band Mana will cap their first week of sold-out concert dates in the U.S. with an appearance on the Tonight Show on Tuesday, October 8th. The band will perform a track from their new release Revolucin de Amor, which debuted on World Latin Top 40-Charts Hot Singles last month and has been drawing critical raves throughout the hemisphere. They will also perform at the MTV Video Music Awards Latin America on October 24th in Miami.

Mana's 2002 REVOLUCION DE AMOR WORLD TOUR kicked off last week with a sold-out show at Denver's Magness Arena. The entire west coast string of dates is sold out, including 4 nights at the Los Angeles Universal Amphitheatre, as is the New York date, and others are near sell-out. Mana puts on one of the most exciting shows in rock, with top-of-the-line musicianship and production values. For every ticket sold on the tour, $1.00 will go to the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) CLASE Scholarship Fund to benefit Latino college students across the United States and Puerto Rico. Mana's Selva Negra Foundation has invited Amnesty International, Greenpeace and the United Nations FAO (Food and Agricultural Organization) to join them in the display of educational materials at concert locations throughout the tour.

Revolucion de Amor is the first new studio album in five years from the legendary band which has been credited with opening the global doors to Latin rock and were dubbed the "U2 of rock en espaol" by the Wall Street Journal. Mana's Revolucin de Amor was "one of the most awaited recordings of the year" . Newsday wrote that the album "has the edgiest feel of any of the group's previous efforts" and features the band's "crisply written pop-rock songs with lively choruses". The Los Angeles Times said, "Mana's unabashed innocence can be captivating. And so can its smooth musicianship and abundant pop appeal."

"Angel de amor", the first single from the album, has been a top track at radio since its release. Before leaving Mexico for the tour, Mana completed the video for "Eres mi religion", the next single from the album which goes to radio today, October 7th.

In recent years, Mana have broadened considerabley the work of their Selva Negra (Black Forest) Foundation, which includes the protection and release of more than 700,000 endangered turtles, the preservation of crocodiles, wolves and humpback whales, reforestation projects in Colombia, and partnerships with Greenpeace and Amnesty International to raise awareness for local issues.
