LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Geffen Records) - Double Grammy nominee Keyshia Cole's sophomore CD "Just Like You" (Imani/Geffen Records) has been certified platinum for selling over one million copies following the tremendous success of her 2005 platinum debut album "The Way It Is." "Just Like You" debuted at No 2 on the "Billboard 200" chart and No 1 on Billboard's "Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums" chart in October selling close to 300 thousand copies in its first week of release. The CD is Executive Produced by Keyshia Cole, her manager Manny Halley, and Geffen Chairman Ron Fair.

With the release of the first single from "Just Like You," the Missy Elliott-produced "Let It Go," featuring Elliott and Lil' Kim, 26-year-old Keyshia Cole became the first female in the history of the 14-year old Nielsen BDS-based Urban chart to land three consecutive No 1 chart positions. "Let It Go," follows "I Should Have Cheated," which topped the list in December 2005, and "Love," from April 2006.

Last week Keyshia was honored with two (2) Grammy award nominations: Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Let It Go" and Best Contemporary R&B Album for "Just Like You."

"Just Like You" has received rave reviews in the press. Here is what some outlets have to say:

"Call Ms. Cole a triple threat. Her voice has the flexible range of pop, the muscular punch of soul, and the hard character of Hip-Hop." - New York Daily News

"'Just Like You' is rife with sincere lyrics about troubled relationships paired with soaring vocals and top-notch production." - Billboard

"This is a likable and well sung album... Ms. Cole may be incapable of making any other kind." - The New York Times

On Keyshia Cole: "Few bring as much emotion to a song." - USA Today

"An R&B singer who can give you emotion without off-key melisma!... you can't deny the pleasure of finding a ride-or-die chick who's vulnerable, but can still kick your trifling ass." - Village Voice

Tonight (12/11) marks another milestone in Keyshia's impressive young career as the dramatic one hour grand finale of the second season of her BET reality series "Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is 2" airs at 10 PM. In this emotional "Family Reunion," Keyshia bonds with her biological and foster families. "Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is 2" ranks as the No 1 Returning Series Premiere Performance in BET history and its No 1 Original Series Premiere this season.

The Oakland native's phenomenal popularity continues as she reaches number five (No 5) on Radio and Records "Urban" chart and number six (No 6) on Billboard's "Top R&B/Hip-Hop Songs" chart with her second single "Shoulda Let You Go," introducing Amina, her new artist on Imani Entertainment, the label she co-owns with her manager Manny Halley which is distributed through Geffen. Keyshia's video for her third single "I Remember," produced by Gregory G. Curtis, Sr., the same talented producer that brought us the hit single "Love," has just gone to video outlets and is beginning to heat up the charts as well.

Keyshia will also make her movie debut in the upcoming MTV film "How She Moves" due to be released in 2008.

Keyshia Cole established herself as a fan and critic favorite with one of the biggest hits of 2005, "I Should Have Cheated," followed by one of the most played songs of 2006, "Love" - both from "The Way It Is." She earned the Vibe Next Award and a 2007 ASCAP Award for R&B/Hip-Hop Song for "Love." She also received numerous nominations at the BET Awards, Soul Train Music Awards, American Music Awards, NAACP Image Awards, and Teen Choice Awards.

After headlining her House Of Blues tour in the summer, Keyshia is now performing on tour with R. Kelly through January 13th in Hampton, Virginia. This weekend she'll grace the stage in Los Angeles and her hometown-Oakland, California.
