Atlanta, GA. (Top40 Charts/ Grupo Latino) - Grupo Latino presents salsa great La India in concert on Dec. 21 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia. The holiday show is the debut for the Atlanta based concert promoter.

The La India show is the launch of a year long series of concerts featuring latin artists in Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton and Bachata. Grupo Latino is excited to be part of the growing popularity of Spanish language music in the United States.

Founder, Chris Williams, says "Spanish language music has taken hold in the United States. It is a testament to the real presence that latinos have in this country. I believe salsa, merengue, bachata, and reggaeton have really enriched this country's culture and I am glad that are receiving the recognition they so richly deserve."
Grupo Latino was created in 2007 in an effort to fill a growing void in the market of latino entertainment. Part of the company's mission is to raise money and awareness of poverty in Latin America. Grupo Latino is affiliated with Williams' non profit, Carino, which delivers food, clothing and other necessities to children in the Dominican Republic.

Williams says "I plan to use the concerts and my relationships with latino artists to further a better and much greater cause. The poverty in latin america is extreme, and it will only change if people, like myself, stand up and do something about it."
