LONODN, UK (Top40 Charts/ D & M Records) - England's Lin Duffy has released her debut album, "Dreamaker" on the D and M Record label. Duffy's unique vocal style is highlighted by tweleve tracks on her debut album, including the title track. Her ability to sing both cover songs and original material makes Duffy a must-hear singer in the music world. Executive producer for D and M, Dave Warren, said the label decided to sign Duffy after hearing her submissions to one of the company's compilation CDs - "New Horizons". "She has a sound that is distinct and that is something we look for in new artists," Warren said. "Too many singers seem to try and style themselves after someone else rather than being themselves. In Lin's case, we heard a sound that was strong, distinct and her own. "Our label is restrictive in who we produce," he added. "We look at a number of things before considering any contract. We take a lot of pride in the label and the artists and Lin was certainly someone we were interested in signing. I know fans, and those soon-to-be fans will enjoy every track on her CD." Duffy's album is available in both physical and digital format from the D and M site at www.stardiskco.com or from their record label page www.dandmrecords.com. The album will be sold in stores and as digital downloads on places such as iTunes (all stores worldwide), Emusic, Rhapsody and others in the coming months.
