Boston (AP) - David Byrne and Bill Gates will be teaming up this August with each copy of Windows(r) XP operating system containing a promotional copy of David Byrne's song "Like Humans Do" from his latest album, Look Into the Eyeball. The song will play as a digital audio track, complete with album art and lyrics the first time the Windows Media Player is used.

WindowsMedia.com will also be offering a free Web cast of an hour-long pre-recorded Byrne concert featuring material from Look Into the Eyeball, as well as revamped versions of some of his solo material and Talking Heads songs. The Web cast will premiere August 2nd at 7 p.m. on the WindowsMedia.com site (https://WindowsMedia.com/previewv2/xpconcerts/). Fans will be able to view the footage throughout August.
"It'll be fun to see if streaming video can truly take the next leap," Byrne said of the new media. "If it all works well, it will, of course, revolutionize our viewing habits. I know I wear my own viewing habit on most days."
