Los Angeles, CA. (Top 40 Charts/ Goldtoes Ent.) - It's been said that behind every good artist, is good management; such is the case for Thizz Latin CEO, Goldtoes. After years of being the man behind the music, Goldtoes has stepped into the limelight by releasing his debut album, The Gold Rush. But Goldtoes is no stranger to success. The music mogul affectionately coined, The Master P of Latin music, has spent years breaking artists and nurturing new talent. After releasing the feel good anthem, Blow It and the sexy street ballad, Thick 'n Juicy, it was only a matter of time before the spotlight found him.

Contrary to popular belief, making the transition from CEO to MC didn't come naturally for the Bay Area icon. "I'm not really the guy that gets on stage, raps in front of everybody and starts dancing around," says Goldtoes. "I'm the guy making sure everybody on the floor has a flyer while you are on stage. I'm out there hustlin' for my artists..." It's that kind of humility and ambition that made Goldtoes the prime candidate to carry the torch for the Bay Area music pioneer, Mac Dre.

With a path well lit, Goldtoes released, "The Gold Rush" which features collaborations with famous hip-hop heavyweights, Baby Bash, Jimmy Roses, San Quinn, and Mistah F.A.B. Being cast from the same mold as his preceptor, Mac Dre, Goldtoes has had a hand in not only placing the Bay Area on the map but paying tribute to Latin music as well.

"I don't think Latin music is being slept on but I do think that it's underestimated," says Goldtoes. "There's a lot that Latin Rap offers to the industry because it depicts the Latino lifestyle. Latin Rap is heritage music; it unites, uplifts, and releases a sense of pride."

By boasting a variety of intense and ear-grabbing beats, Goldtoes' debut album, "The Gold Rush" does just that. From the club-banging, feel good song, Blow It, the racy-teaser, Thick 'n Juicy and the street anthem, Still in da Hood, "The Gold Rush" fuses Bay Area beats with the classic sounds that first made Thizz Entertainment a force to be reckoned with.

"Everything to me is a cosmic connection," says Goldtoes. "I feel Dre is looking down on us all."

After years of having The Bay on lock, Goldtoes has gone from co-signing the next superstar to becoming a superstar in his own right. His bouncy party-starting singles have made their way to San Francisco's premiere radio station, KMEL 106. With an authentic homegrown sound and two hit singles, it's no wonder fans are rushing toward the gold.
