Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Rocket Science Records) - Country music star Tracy Byrd teamed up with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Children's Miracle Network and will soon play a free concert for America's most charitable community. Byrd, a veteran artist noted for his longtime support of Children's Miracle Network and contributions to his hometown children's hospital in Beaumont, TX, will perform 'live' at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta on Monday, October 22. Show time is 7:00 PM. The world's largest retailer is recognizing the Atlanta market area for selling the most 'miracle balloons' at Wal-Mart Stores, Neighborhood Markets, Distribution Centers and Sam's Club during the month of May when Wal-Mart celebrated the 20th anniversary of its partnership with Children's Miracle Network. 'It's incredible to think that buying a miracle balloon for $1 can make such an amazing difference in the health and welfare of children. And what a great job Wal-Mart has done, raising more than $400 million for Children's Miracle Network hospitals since 1987! I've personally seen for years now what Children's Miracle Network does for local children's hospitals,' Byrd says. 'I love performing in Atlanta anyway, but I know that our show on October 22 will be an extra good one because I plan to pull out all the stops!' Tracy Byrd has long been devoted to this nonprofit organization that helps kids in children's hospitals throughout the United States and Canada. Proceeds from his annual Homecoming Weekend event have resulted in the Tracy Byrd Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care Center at the children's hospital in his hometown of Beaumont, Texas. Children's Miracle Network affiliated hospitals provide the finest medical care, lifesaving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.
