LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ PS Promotions) - Following the success of her CD release concert in jet set Miami, FL, jazz stylist Paulette Dozier will hit the Big Apple in October for a one-time show during the first annual Jazz Improv? LIVE! Convention & Festival 2007. She will début songs from her new album, "OVER & OVER AGAIN."

Featured amongst a prestigious list of emerging artists and festival headliners such as McCoy Tyner, Stanley Clarke, Pat Martino, Geri Allen and many more who will take the stage; the always dynamic Paulette Dozier will perform Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the Manhattan Center (Studio 6) * 311 W 34th St * New York, NY 10001 at 7pm.

Recognized as one of the first ladies of classic jazz, this charismatic vocalist has a knack for taking jazz classics and adding her unique style to create a modern sound. Like her 2005 release "With You," OVER & OVER AGAIN is filled with interpretive standards and originals reminiscent of the 40s/50s jazz style. But the vigor of this much-awaited new album adds contemporary flair to jazz nostalgia and Paulette swings through each song flawlessly.

Produced by jazz pianist Mike Levine, Dozier's new production features a host of outstanding musicians including famed tenor sax master Ed Calle on the opening track, "You'll Never Know," as well as the renowned Ira Sullivan on flugelhorn highlighting Paulette and Mike's original jazz waltz, "Together Yet Alone." The title tune, "Over & Over Again," also written by Paulette and Mike, will be featured on the Jazz Improv companion CD to be distributed in the October issue of Jazz Improv's New York Jazz Guide.

The Jazz Improv' LIVE! Convention & Festival 2007 will run from Thursday to Sunday, October 25-28, 2007, at The New Yorker Hotel and Manhattan Center, located at 34th Street & 8th Avenue in midtown Manhattan.

You don't want to miss this international jazz event, and you definitely don't want to miss Paulette Dozier's incomparable show. If you enjoy real jazz, without a doubt Paulette's seductive voice and power packed performance will have you wanting to see her show and hear her music "OVER & OVER AGAIN." (www.paulettedozier.com)
