 ORLANDO, FL. (Top 40 Charts/ Mark Zauss Official Website) - Mark Zauss, jazz trumpet player extraordinaire, will appear in concert at 7:00 p.m. October 22 in the Tavares High School Auditorium. The concert will also feature the Tavares High School Jazz Ensemble. The program will include many selections from the '40s to the '90s featuring both Zauss and many student soloists. Zauss, who lives in Orlando, leads and performs in six of his own wildly diverse musical groups which cover a multitude of genres from Swing to Dixieland and Be-Bop to Classical. Together Zauss and his wife, Kathy, perform in more than 110 events a year for companies such as: Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Fortune 500 companies, jazz festivals and corporate events. Zauss has two solo CDs that are frequently played on jazz stations around the country. The concert has been organized to raise funds to support the Tavares High School Music Department.
