New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ VP Records) - Wayne Wonder's album release party to celebrate the drop of the highly anticipated 'Foreva' (VP Records - September 25th) took place at New York City hotspot the Manor on the eve of release. Beginning at 11 PM on Monday, September 24th, the club was packed to the rafters with fans from New York to the islands and beyond. In the meantime, even more Wayne Wonder admirers lined 8th avenue, snaking around the block and waiting with eager anticipation to gain admission to the hottest party in town.

When Wayne finally took the stage at 1:00 AM - the crowd went wild. He performed some of the biggest tunes from his decades spanning career - including the hits "No Letting Go" and "For My Love." But the reggae-loving crowd could not contain themselves when Wayne brought up special guests and dancehall titans, Shaggy, Red Fox, Assassin, Rayvon and Mr. Vegas to join him on the microphone. The entire performance whipped the crowd into an ecstatic "Hotter than Fire" frenzy that left them clamoring for more long after Wayne Wonder left the stage.

BET caught it all on tape and will air a segment on the event on their weekly entertainment news program "The Black Carpet" in the beginning of October.

Wayne Wonder strongly recommends: "Get three copies of 'Foreva' / One for your house, one for your car, and keep one in the plastic / because a few years from now this album is going to be considered a classic."
