NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Atlantic Records) - A decade after his classic debut "Adrenaline Rush," Grammy-winning rapper Twista releases his hotly anticipated new album "Adrenaline Rush 2007" (Atlantic) today. The lead single, "Give It Up" featuring Pharrell, is buzzing at radio right now.

The album is already getting rave reviews, with XXL Magazine commenting, "'Adrenaline Rush 2007' is a definite return to the raw... the Midwestern rhyme slinger proves that, even after more than a decade in the game, he still got that fire." Blender remarks, "Hip Hop's reigning contortionist has built a 16-year career cramming syllables where they don't belong, at autobahn speeds."

"This album is appropriately titled 'Adrenaline Rush 2007,' because it's the 10-year anniversary of dropping in 1997," Twista proclaims. "I wanted to revisit my old title to introduce my new fans to my sound from 10 years ago. And for my old fans that's been with me, I want to reward them with that heat that they've always been looking for." Seems like a man with an eye to the future, and an appropriate nod to the past. "This new album is my reply to rappers who felt like I took it a little too commercial on [2005's] 'The Day After,'" he continues. "This is the perfect balance of street, club, and radio joints that I feel the fans need from Twista at this point. It's where you feel Twista should be 10 years into his career."

"Adrenaline Rush 2007" is Twista's 5th release on Atlantic Records. The album features appearances by Kanye West, R. Kelly, T-Pain, and Bone Thugs N-Harmony, amongst others. Twista stormed the charts and the national consciousness with his 2004 "Kamikaze" album, which went platinum riding the massive singles "Slow Jamz" with Kanye West and Jamie Foxx, and "Overnight Celebrity."
In 2006, Twista and Kanye scored a breakout hit on the "Mission: Impossible III" soundtrack. Having worked with everyone from Mariah Carey to Snoop to Jay-Z to Ludacris, the Windy City's breeziest tongue knows no borders. To that end - and confirming he's as much substance as style - Twista recently called out President Bush, condemning him as "bogus" for vetoing a bill to withdraw American troops from Iraq and inspiring Americans to not be afraid to speak out.
