Fort Lauderdale, FL. (Top40 Charts/ VP Records) - With the release of his latest offering 'Foreva' (September 25th - VP Records) just a month away, here are some things that you should know about the international dancehall reggae superstar with the undeniable hooks, velvety voice, and electrifying beats on his upcoming release:

* 'Foreva' was produced by Wayne Wonder, Don Corleone and Tony Kelly and much of the record was written by Wayne and recorded in his hometown of Kingston, Jamaica.

* Highlights of 'Foreva' include the bittersweet love song "Again" and the hip-hop infused "For My Love" - the latter featuring guest MC, Trina.

* Wayne Wonder rose to fame in 2003 when Atlantic records released 'No Holding Back' - "No Letting Go" was the hit song that catapulted Wayne into the stratosphere with an appearance on 'Saturday Night Live,' a GRAMMY nomination for Best Reggae Album and a peak position at No 11 on the Billboard Top 100.

* Wayne Wonder was born in Buff Bay, Portland Jamaica and moved all over eastern Kingston including a stint in Rae Town - home of the weekly Reggae/R oldies street dance which inspired him to take a more soulful approach to dancehall.

* Producer and celebrated creator of dub, King Tubby was the most influential force (next to singing in church as a child) in Wayne's early career. King Tubby was a renowned Jamaican producer who is widely credited with inventing the concept of the remix and brought the role of producer to new creative heights.

* In 1989 Wayne partnered with producer and childhood friend Dave Kelly and the pair released a consecutive string of hits for Penthouse records including remakes of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car," PM Dawn's "Die Without You" and En Vogue's "Hold On."

* No Doubt's Tony Kanal produced Wayne's 2004 remake of the Thompson Twins 1984 classic "Hold Me Now" which appeared on the soundtrack of Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore's "50 First Dates."

* Currently, Wayne Wonder splits his time between Jamaica and Fort Lauderdale, FL - in the latter, he has a home recording studio.
