The hospitality of the great people of the Seminole Nation is warm and friendly, and cordially invite you to join the celebration of Seminole culture during this exciting two day event, in which this event is stimulating and educational for all members of the family, offering cultural exhibits, traditional dances; as this celebration honors the 151st Anniversary of the Treaty of 1856, establishing the beginning of the present day Seminole Nation.

Besides delivering a quality educational and stimulating cultural experience that is sure to WOW all members of the family, this one of a kind event also offers loads fun and excitement for all, as well. There will be a princess pageant, a parade, sports tournaments, Native American arts and crafts, vendors, a FREE carnival, (which will be set up for all three days), complete with a 60 foot ferris wheel which will allow people a chance to see the entire festival from a scenic bird's eye view.

And just as warm and friendly as the hospitality is, the entertainment is just as sizzling...

Amongst this year's live music entertainment, The Seminole Tribal Nation presents four outstanding artist and bands. On Friday September 14th, national and world renown recording artists Ghost Riders~ The Legends take the stage for an action packed concert of their signature style of Rock n' Roll and Southern Boogie.

Ghost Riders~ The Legends are comprised of former members of a number of Rock and Roll and Southern Rock's most legendary bands, such as: Steve Grisham, formerly of the Outlaws, Phil Stokes, formerly of Pure Prairie League, Barry Rapp, formerly of The Henry Paul Band, Pug Baker formerly of The Knack, and more.

Opening for Ghost Riders~ The Legends, at this event, will be Smiling Vic & The Soul Monkeys, who are a regional favorite at delivering dynamic performances in the genres of rock, soul, blues and beyond, all performed with true Seminole style!

On Saturday, September 15th, The Seminole Tribal Nation presents Mark Chesnutt to join the celebration, performing all his hits in the genres of both classic style and contemporary Country music.
Mark Chesnutt has plenty of hits to perform too, as he has to his credits, four platinum albums, five gold albums, fourteen number one singles, and twenty three Top Ten singles.

Opening for Mark Chesnutt, will be the beautiful and talented Shawna Russell who is a fast rising starlett, shining brightly on the music industry horizon, gaining much recognition for her song, "Shed a Tear", (co- written by Tim Rushlow), which was written to honor the outstanding women who are serving, and who have served, in our nation's Armed Forces. During her performance at the Seminole Nation Days Celebration, Shawna will dedicate her performance to women veterans who have, and are currently serving our nation, in respectful appreciation, and honoring these great women for their dedicated service and sacrifices in our military.

On Sunday there will be a Kids Fishing Derby and Contest, Softball Tournament continues from Saturday, Archery Shoot, and FREE carnival rides continue from 10 am to 6 pm, a Gospel singing, and a Pow Wow Contest where winner takes all!

More exceptional features of the Seminole Nation Days Celebration that sets this event miles apart from other festivals, is besides the many vendors that will be present at this celebration, (that one can count on for cool and unique items found only for sale at festivals, that one cannot find at their local shopping centers), there will also be genuine, quality Native American arts and crafts, which were made with the skilled craftsmanship and artistry of the Seminole people which can be purchased at this festival for a totally unique shopping experience and a true treasure hunt, for those who like to do 'the shopping thing' on the weekends.

Another feature of this exceptional event is of course, the food. For those who do love the traditional festival cuisine of funnel cakes, sausages and other yummy festival treats, there will be plenty of food vendors present to serve up your favorite 'festival fare.' But beside the usual festival treats, this event also offers delicious traditional Native American cuisine, as well. This in itself offers a delicious and nutritious change of pace, from the same ol' festival fare of walking around while eating funnel cakes, and sausages, (and spilling mustard all down your shirt). So, at the Seminole Nation Days Celebration, you can indeed have your funnel cake and eat mouth watering Native American cuisine too!

No matter if you are looking for 'the perfect get away' where you can relax and have fun, or an action packed event, jam packed full of festivities, the Seminole Nation Days Celebration IS that amazing something for everyone, event! And just because this outstanding event is miles apart from the 'same old, seen one you've seen them all festival', it is not miles off the beaten path! The Seminole Nation Days Celebration is very conveniently located just off of Interstate 40.
