Baltimore, MD. (Top40 Charts/ GreenDimes) - As the next step in its ongoing fight to end postal junk mail, GreenDimes is set to enhance its services to the North American public, and will debut those new services at this year's much-anticipated VirginFest music festival in Baltimore, Maryland. GreenDimes' new and improved service options will now give customers the opportunity to clean out their mailboxes while helping the environment on a variety of levels, all at affordable prices.

GreenDimes will be a part of VirginFest's groundbreaking "Green It" campaign that seeks to make the festival a "zero waste" event. The campaign will put the focus on businesses and companies that have taken the initiative to establish environmentally safe practices and drive home the message that environmental change is vital to the future of the world as a whole.

GreenDimes will use VirginFest as a backdrop to unveil its congressional campaign to make it the federal government's job to eliminate junk mail throughout the United States. Representatives will begin circulating a signature petition at the festival asking attendees to sign and support the cause. That petition will continue until enough signatures have been secured to officially present it to congress.

"With thousands of ticket holders headed for Baltimore, VirginFest is the perfect place to launch the new GreenDimes," says GreenDimes Founder and CEO Pankaj Shah. "We look forward to meeting our fellow attendees, circulating our petition throughout the crowd and continuing to spread the word about how junk mail can be stopped."

In the meantime, GreenDimes offers easy junk mail solutions that you can access immediately. With just a click of the mouse, GreenDimes allows you to eliminate the mail you don't want and keep the mail that you do want. Save time that you would have spent tearing up and recycling unwanted mail and reclaim the counter space that it would have cluttered. Additionally, GreenDimes plants 10 trees for each member and contributes regularly to various charitable causes.
For those people that cannot attend VirginFest, GreenDimes has also joined Virgin in creating a co-branded, informative postcard. Attendees can send the 100 percent tree-free card, which includes information on how to join the GreenDimes campaign, to their family and friends.
