NEW YORK (Coldplay Official Website) - Coldplay fans will be able to hear a sneak preview of the band's new album online by registering on their website.

A new track will be played from A Rush Of Blood To The Head every day for 11 days starting on August 5.

Those who are signed up will get a password to a secret part of the new arushofbloodtothehead.com site.

A Coldplay spokesman said: "We wanted to make sure that all registered Coldplay.com fans got the first chance to hear the new album before it even goes to radio."

Although, Coldplay fans will have the opportunity to preview the group's second album, A Rush Of Blood To The Head, during a series of listening parties scheduled in 10 U.S. cities for Wednesday and Thursday (July 31 and August 1). The album is not due for release until August 27.

Parties are scheduled for Wednesday in Seattle; Austin, Texas; Dallas; San Francisco; San Diego; and Portland, Oregon. Four more are slated for Thursday in St. Louis, Denver, Atlanta, and Cleveland. Another gathering is also on the schedule for August 8 in Los Angeles.

However, fans will be on their own when it comes to sizing up the album. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin says he'd rather not try to explain it. "You know, to describe an album, particularly a new album, is a bit like someone asking you to describe your own nose, you know, because you're the one person that can't really see it for what it is, you know? Even if you look in the mirror, it's still the wrong way around, and that's how I feel about talking about our albums, because we're just too close to it."

A Rush Of Blood To The Head features the single "In My Place." Coldplay will promote the album with a club tour in select U.S. cities in August, with a series of dates in larger venues to follow in September.

July 31 - Austin, TX - Club Deville
July 31 - Dallas, TX - Tree's
July 31 - San Francisco, CA - Cafe Du Nord

August 1 - St. Louis, MO - Galaxy
August 1 - Denver, CO - La Rumba
August 1 - Atlanta, GA - Acqua at Eleven
