Convention & Festival 2007, The One International Convention For Jazz Fans - announces a preliminary schedule of headline events (see below for details), and Discount Advance Registration. Taking place this autumn in New York, October 25-28, 2007, at The New Yorker Hotel and Manhattan Center, at 34th Street & 8th Avenue in midtown Manhattan, right in the heart of the jazz world, the event will feature over 150 activities, a 12,000 square foot jazz expo area, and scores of performances, all day and evening, by leading and emerging artists covering the broadest array of jazz genres. Highlights include an exclusive U.S. appearance by the McCoy Tyner Trio featuring Stanley Clarke and Jack DeJohnette which will be recorded live for release on Half Note.
