New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ EMU) - Electronic Music Umbrella (EMU) presents its 5th installment of Festivus Holiday, a free outdoor celebration of electronic music.
This unique and revolutionary event will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2007 from 3pm to 8pm on the Great Hill in Central Park. This is the 2nd year for Festivus in Central Park. DJs Hector Romero, Exacta, Steven Lee (Lee Cabrera), and Alex Pearce are volunteering their time and talents to celebrate Festivus.

EMU is an urban grassroots movement dedicated to publicly promoting the art and culture of electronic music. EMU aims to create open spaces for people to dance in the daylight to the music that moves them. The organization was founded to celebrate the soul of a music that speaks in the frequency of a cyber culture. EMU is a not-for-profit charitable organization with 501.c3 designation. At present, all the directors of EMU volunteer their time and resources to support this mission.

EMU has hosted numerous successful events over the past four years, each of which have been free and open to the public of all ages. Previous events have been held at Battery Park, and most recently, Central Park in 2006. Last year's line up included John Creamer & Stephane K, Cevin Fisher, DB, and Serge Devant.

Special thanks to all our sponsors who have supported Festivus 5.0: Speaker of the House, Nightclubcity, ClubPlanet, Rhythmism.com, flawless media, Pickled House, and D3 Audio.

The after-party at LOVElocated at 40 W 8th Street between Macdougal Street and 6th avenue will start at 9pm.
