LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Daria Official Website) - Along with music, she also bring programs that support and uplift the community and learns new songs which she can share with her expanding live audiences as well as on her award-winning cd's. Daria's latest cd – BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW WORLD – has just been selected as a 2007 Parent's Choice Award Winner. Her last cd, I HAVE A DREAM was a recipient of the National Association of Parenting Publications Honor Award and a Children's Music Web " Best New Artist For Younger Children" (2004) citation.

Called "peace pop", Daria's music is neither "sugared-up" nor dummied down. Created by a team of award-winning musicians and producers, her world music rhythms are infectious and the songs – both traditional and Daria's originals – have memorable melodies that stay with listeners both young and old alike. And; to the delight of parents and educators, her music brings a message they really want their children to hear. Her songs talks about joy and happiness, but also about respect for tradition, love for the land, tolerance and diversity. Says Carol Williams founder of World Wide Community Radio: "(Daria's cd's) should be in every home where there are children and her website is all that too."

During July 2007, Daria will be a featured performer at the 3rd International Women's Peace Conference in Dallas, Texas (United States). Also a recipient of a 2007 Pennsylvania Council On The Arts Arts Commentary Award administrated by the Pennsylvania Humanities Council, Daria holds a degree in ethnomusicology and is active in Native American, Fair Trade and Children's issues. With a passionate interest in music and community-building, she hosts a popular children's music website that offers songs, activities, musical jokes, build-an-instrument and hear-an-instrument sections so children can stay active and engaged in cultural exchange and music-making. Her website is located at www.dariamusic.com.
