Just in time for her senior album, "Here I AM," EVE is ready to flip the turntables at RAP CITY to a lady's perspective this Black Music Month. RAP CITY fans get ready for one of the most inspiring and empowering episodes in hip hop yet, as Eve brings in five of the most momentous women in hip-hop as they discuss the current state of women in hip-hop, the power of women in the industry, and how physically appealing the game has become. Viewers can expect to see, editor-in-chief for Vibe magazine, Mimi Valdes, rap's street-sweetheart Remy Ma, hip-hop's past present and future, DJ Jazzy Joyce, Britain's own Monie Love and last but certainly not least, the female rap intellect, Dr. Roxanne Shante, not to mention "the magnificent" DJ Jazzy Jeff, the forever energetic Swiss Beatz and the ever-so-conscious rapper, Common. Making its debut in 1989, RAP CITY, is the longest-running rap show in history, providing a full hour of music videos, guest DJ's and celebrity guest appearances. Airing Monday through Friday at 5:00 pm/ ET, the show is an exclusive showcase for hip hop music videos and features interviews with the most highlighted rap stars of the moment along with memorable freestyles from artists.
