NEW YORK (Little Steven Official Website) - A new song from Bruce Springsteen's upcoming album The Rising will have its world premiere this weekend on
Little Steven's syndicated radio program. The song, "Countin' On A Miracle," will be heard for the first time anywhere on Hard Rock Cafe Presents
Little Steven's Underground Garage, the singer-guitarist and actor's weekly radio show, which will air July 20 and 21. The Rising comes out July 30.
Little Steven's Underground Garage is a celebration of garage rock in all its forms, including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Them, and the Ramones, and the Chesterfield Kings, among others. "Countin' On A Miracle" doesn't exactly fit into that mold, but Little Steven explained why he'll be playing the song this way: "Garage is the common thread for all of us. If you want to play rock and roll, you start with Garage."
Along with the new cut from his E Street Band boss, Little Steven will salute other New Jersey acts on this weekend's show, including the Rascals, Richard & the Young Lions, the Knickerbockers, and the Swingin' Neckbreakers.

"Countin' On A Miracle" will bring to five the number of new Springsteen songs available before The Rising is released. Three tracks have already come out online - "The Rising," "Lonesome Day," and "Into The Fire," which was posted this week at several sites, including brucespringsteen.net - and "Mary's Place" is due on Monday (July 22).
Since it began in early April, Little Steven's Underground Garage has more than doubled the number of radio stations airing the show, rising from 23 to 58.
