MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO (Top40 Charts/ Elixir Strings) - Elixir Strings is introducing retail seminars at this year's Music Industries Association of Canada (MIAC) trade show as part of its newest initiative to help drive retailers' longevity in business. Elixir's 'Space Management & Planogramming for Profit' workshops will be open free of charge to show attendees at the MIAC Education Centre (Aviation Ballroom, Hall 5, International Centre) on Sunday, August 26 and Monday, August 27 between 1:30 and 3:00 p.m. Led by consumer product brand marketing/sales specialist Chris Lioi of Elixir Strings, the seminars will feature an interactive Q&A approach that will explore traditional and proven marketing strategies that cover such topics as capturing impulse dollars through strategic positioning, metrics for successful inventory control and maximizing use of secondary displays for enhancing financial performance. Among other areas discussed will be inventory rationalization, SKU management, product placement and consumer buying behaviours. 'Our retailers represent the common thread between Elixir Strings and the consumer,' says Lioi. 'Being a part of this year's MIAC seminar line-up is an avenue for us to give back to businesses that have supported Elixir Strings over the past decade as well as develop new relationships within the retail circuit.'
