SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (Top40 Charts/ Radio Ink) - Interep announced that it will sponsor a Power of Hispanic Radio panel, entitled, "The Medium Matters: Radio's Role in the Hispanic Marketing Mix," at Radio Ink's Hispanic Radio Conference in San Antonio, on May 23rd, 2007.

The panel will discuss the important role that Hispanic Radio plays in the lives of today's U.S. Hispanics, as well as what Hispanic Radio needs to do to remain competitive in a changing media environment.

The moderator is Peter Remington, VP/GM, SBS, San Francisco. Panelists include leaders in multicultural marketing with varied backgrounds and expertise, including: Steve Jett, National Car Advertising Manager, Toyota; Jorge Goytortua Mexicana Airlines, Los Angeles; Alejandro Clabiorne, VP, Multicultural Director, MediaCom-NY; Rosa Serrano, Sr. VP, Multicultural Account Director, Initiative-Atlanta.

Lisa Sirotka-Sonnenklar, President of Interep's McGavren Guild Radio, who served on the advisory panel for the conference, said, "We are thrilled to be participating in Radio Ink's first Hispanic Radio conference. The Hispanic market is so important to the future of our medium. We are committed to assuring that radio, and our Hispanic radio partners, receive a share of marketing dollars, and achieve a level of growth, that is reflective of the burgeoning influence of Hispanic consumers in the U.S."

The winners of Radio Ink's Medallas de Cortez awards will also be announced during the conference. Interep's Barry Fischer, General Manager, SBS/Interep, has been named a finalist for the Hispanic Marketer of the Year award.
