Carolyn Dawn Johnson Crosses The Finish Line

Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Equity Music Group) - Equity Music Group's Carolyn Dawn Johnson crossed the finish line at the Marathon for the 8th Annual Country Music Marathon and Marathon last Saturday, April 28, in Nashville. Kicking off in Centennial Park, the course ran through Music City 's most scenic sights and finished at LP field. CDJ's official chip time was 2:28:04, averaging 11:18 minutes/mile. For fans, friends and family who couldn't be on the sidelines to cheer CDJ on, her progress was tracked using a GPS system and posted on the Country Music Marathon website. Regular updates were also sent via e-mail or cell phone.

CDJ ran the first half along side her high school friend, who traveled from Canada to Nashville for the race. 'This race was her first marathon. I wanted to be there for her and encourage her to keep going,' comments CDJ. 'It was such a great day.' This race marks CDJ's third marathon.
