New Jersey, NJ. (Top40 Charts/ Militia Group) - Juliette and the Licks has taken the U.K., Japan and countless surrounding territories by storm with their sophomore sensation, FOUR ON THE FLOOR, and America is steady in their sights. The album will be released July 24 on The Militia Group, home to Tahiti 80, Jill Cunniff, Copeland and a bevy of others. Extensive tour plans are in the works but in the meantime, The Licks are confirmed to appear at this year's Lollapalooza as well as The Bamboozle festival in New Jersey, May 6.

Filled with the bristling pop heroics found on the Licks' debut LP, 2005's YOU'RE SPEAKING MY LANGUAGE, FOUR ON THE FLOOR wreaks of pure, unadulterated rock bliss complete with the swagger and bravado this band is known for. A maelstrom of thundering drums, compliments of Dave Grohl's studio work [replaced live by official new member Ed Davis], aggressive guitars (Todd Morse and Kemble Walters), driving bass grooves (Jason Womack) and Juliette Lewis' snarling vocals, FOUR ON THE FLOOR pops with sexually-charged energy and raw power. A throwback to '60's and '70's garage rock, the album teems with a new confidence, chemistry, songwriting chops and kick-ass rock thrills. Overall, this quintet has unleashed a collection of mercilessly catchy songs.

Upon U.K. release, the album almost immediately landed at No 4 on the British Indie Label Chart and the finicky critics aligned. "The Licks have once again thrown down the gauntlet of 'who can rock the hardest' and they'll put up a bloody good fight to win," exclaimed ROCK SOUND, while NME's endorsement read, "This is just rock in its most undiluted form." But that's just a taste of the glowing praise, as Lewis has graced innumerable pages in country after country, including the cover of Rolling Stone in Spain.

Juliette and the Licks have played to more than 600,000 people in more than 23 countries and sold-out the majority of them. Their unmatched live shows burst with attitude and adrenaline, showcasing a band setting their sites on world domination.
