LOS ANGELES (Pearl Jam Fans Website) - A tentative release date of November has been set for the forthcoming, not-yet-titled
Pearl Jam album, according to the
Pearl Jam Rumor Pit site. However, an Epic spokesperson couldn't confirm or deny the date.
The album, produced by Adam Kasper and Pearl Jam and mixed by Brendan O'Brien, is the group's seventh studio album and follow-up to 2000's Binaural (allstar, March 27). It will precede the long-awaited rarities album that is expected out in 2003, possibly as a double CD.
Meanwhile, Brad (featuring guitarist Stone Gossard) will release its third album, Welcome to the Discovery Park, on Aug. 13 on Redline, with a tour to begin in October. The track listing for the album is "Brothers and Sisters," "Shinin'," "Drop It Down," "Never Let Each Other Down," "If You Could Make It Good," "Revolution," "Takin' It Easy," "Sheepish," "All Is One," "Couch T-Bone," "La, La, La," "Yes, You Are," and "Arrakis."
In other side-project news, guitarist Mike McCready appears on the new Wallflowers album, Red Letter Days, due Sept. 24 and, as previously reported, singer Eddie Vedder contributes "I Believe in Miracles" to the forthcoming Ramones tribute album on Columbia Records this year.
