Youngstown, OH. (Top40 Charts/ Cheers & Severino Productions) - Some of Detroit's greatest musical acts are gearing up for the ultimate Motown soul concert. On May 19, The Motown Legends Tour will make its first stop in Youngstown, Ohio at the Chevrolet Centre located at 229 East Front Street. The concert spectacular will feature The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards, The Miracles, The Contours and Spyder Turner.

Tickets for the show are available at GetTix.Net and the Chevrolet Centre Box Office at $39.50 and $49.50, which is an "incredible" price for a show of this magnitude.

The Motown Legends Tour, produced by Cheers & Severino Productions, is the first show in recent history to feature so many great classic Motown legends on one stage. To add to the excitement, the tour bus will begin its trip to the Chevrolet Centre in front of the Hitsville (Motown Museum) building, formerly the home of Motown Records during its reign as "The Sound of Young America" in the 1960s and the starting point for so many legendary Motortown Revue tours.

Like the Motortown Revue tours that featured artists like The Miracles, Contours, Mary Wells and Little Stevie Wonder all on one bill, Cheers & Severino Productions plans to make a series out of "The Motown Legends Tour" concert event. The show in Youngstown will mark the beginning of a series of tour dates around the country aimed at giving fans of the classic Motown concerts, the lineups they haven't seen since the label's golden age.

The "Motown Legends Tour" project is the brainchild of Jim Cheers, a music industry veteran who previously worked for Capitol Records as Regional R&B promotions manager for the Midwest & West Coast and later became the National Marketing Manager/ Disco Director. His partner, Carl Severino is a Youngstown local entertainment and promotions personality.
