LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Take Home Music) - Multi-instrumentalist and composer Gary Paul Bryant (www.garypaulbryant.com) has just released Big World, his 9th CD, and it certainly is big. Bryant is a unique talent of melding power rock with jazz and classical music shines on this latest project. While a few tracks like 'Closing In On You' and 'Anybody Anywhere' show off a cinematic soft side, most of these tracks are big productions, with dense jazz/rock sound beds vying for a place behind complex piano leads and several manic sax riffs. As jazz, this CD rocks! Bryant has seen some success from previous releases. Imaginary Piano, released in May of 2005 included several tracks that still get considerable airplay. Flipside, from Imaginary Piano, went to No 3 on the Jazz charts in Australia, while Deliberate Love went to the top 25 on the New Age charts. The World in A-Minor from Legacy, was the number one power pop tune for nearly two months at music mega site SoundClick.com and received considerable airplay in Europe. More than 100 internet stations regularly play his music including an impressive 50 stations from web casting server live365.com. Another thing that makes Bryant unique is the fact that he started his professional music career less than five years ago, in mid-life, abandoning a career in Web publishing. "I don't know how many times I've heard that sage advice 'do what you love.' Well you don't have to hit me over the head more than five or six times. Writing and recording music - that's what I love, so now, that's pretty much all I do," he said. His dream now is to write film music. "Movie music is pretty much what I do now," Bryant says smiling, "It's just so much better without all of those annoying lyrics!" Big World certainly gives you a sense of this direction. Most of Gary's music is available on CD from a number of outlets including his own web site, GaryPaulBryant.com (www.garypaulbryant.com), CDBaby.com and others. Additionally, nearly all of his tracks are available for iPod and MP3 downloading from his website and other sites including iTunes.com, eMusic.com and Rhapsody.
