Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Scrap Metal Official website) - Celebrity Rock Group 'Scrap Metal' scheduled to perform during the 2007 Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival in Nashville (March 27-31st) confirmed today the special guest performances by C.J. Snare of Firehouse whose hits include "Love of a Lifetime", "Don't Treat Me Bad", and Stephen Pearcy of Ratt whose hits include "Round and Round".

Members of 'Scrap Metal', a who's who of multi-platinum Singer / Songwriters, include Kelly Keagy of Nigh Ranger whose rock hits include "Sister Christian", "Don't Tell Me You Love Me", and "You Can Still Rock In America"; Eric Martin of Mr. Big whose hits include "To Be With You" and "Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy"; Gunnar Nelson and Matthew Nelson the twin sons of Rock'n'Roll Legend Ricky Nelson, of rock group Nelson whose pop/rock hits include "(Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection", "After the Rain", and "More Than Ever"; and Mark Slaughter of Slaughter whose penned hits include "Up All Night Sleep All Day" and "Fly to the Angels". Kelly Keagy, Gunnar Nelson and Mark Slaughter are all local residents of Music City (Nashville). This is Scrap Metal's second appearance at Tin Pan South, the fundraiser for the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).

"With Scrap Metal, you're looking at a group of singer/songwriters who at the very least are bringing in four songs each that have all been in the top five of the Billboard Top 100," enthuses Scrap Metal founder Gunnar Nelson, "We're excited to return to Tin Pan South with Eric Martin and special guests C.J. Snare and Stephen Pearcy. We plan to put on a rockin' show!"

Tin Pan South is America's largest music festival dedicated to songs and songwriters. Produced by the Nashville Songwriters Association International, the festival is a legislative fundraiser in support of NSAI's efforts in Congress. Each spring, hundreds of songwriters perform over 100 shows. For five days and nights the festival encompasses Nashville venues, elevating songwriters and the contribution they make to Music City and to the world of music.
