Gotti Debut with Ashanti and Ja Rule

LOS ANGELES (Urban News) - Label head/producer Irv Gotti, who has done high-profile work on albums by DMX, Ashanti, Big Pun, Ja Rule and numerous others, will release his first solo album, The Inc., on July 2nd, on his own Murder Inc. imprint of Def Jam.

The album, which is produced by Gotti's Top Dawg Productions, will feature guest appearances by Ja Rule, Ashanti and Charli "Chuck" Baltimore on the first single, "Down 4 U." Jennifer Lopez, Black Child, Caddillac Tah, Jody Mack, Vita, and Ronnie Bumps are among the others who make guest spots on the record.

Gotti is planning to direct the video for the album's second single, "Ride Wit Us" (featuring Mack, Black Child, 0-1, Merc, Bumps, D.O. and Caddillac Tah), in Los Angeles on June 21st.
