CHICAGO (R. Kelly Fans Website) - As expected, R&B singer R. Kelly turned himself in to authorities in Chicago on Friday (June 7) morning, one day after he was arrested in Florida on out-of-state child pornography charges, according to a spokesperson for the Cook County State Attorney's Office. Kelly posted $750,000 bond in Polk County, Fla., on Thursday and was required to post an additional $750,000 in Cook County, Ill., on Friday. Conditions of Kelly's bond include no contact with anyone under the age of 17 except his own children and an order not to leave the state of Illinois. Kelly is next due in Cook County Criminal Court on June 26. The singer - real name Robert Kelly - was indicted in Chicago on 21 counts of violating child pornography laws on Wednesday. He was picked up by police in Florida at a home he rents in Davenport later that day. Kelly is accused of allegedly videotaping himself having sex with a 14-year-old female sometime over the last four years. The tape in question has been circulating on the Internet and the black market since February, when the case broke. Kelly has denied he had sex with anyone underage.
