NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ MTV PR) - Latin rockers Kinky have licensed songs from their latest album, Reina, for use in conjunction with the new MTV music reality series "DanceLife," which is executive produced by and features Jennifer Lopez. Additionally, the video to "Sister Twisted," the first single from Reina, will be featured during the end credits of one premiere episode. The 8-episode series premiered on January 15 and airs on MTV Mondays at 10:30PM (ET/PT).

MTV Tr3s will also air the 8-episode series beginning January 23rd along with exclusive additional content called "Dance Adictos." Immediately following each 30-minute episode of "DanceLife," "Dance Adictos" will include short form vignettes featuring the series star dancers who will teach viewers the hottest dances to tracks exclusively from Kinky. Instructional dance segments referred to as "Dance 101" will also be available on MTV.com via the "DanceLife" show page.

Reina, which Rolling Stone recently called "dance-till-you-drop mayhem," is the third album from the Monterey, Mexico quintet released on their own imprint label Kin-Kon via Nettwerk Records. Written and produced entirely by the band, Reina features collaborations with Men At Work frontman Colin Hay, as well as Mexican alternative rock singer Ely Guerra and Intocable's accordion player Rick Munea. Kinky recently wrapped up a North American tour in support of the album but plan to hit the road again this spring.

Jennifer Lopez is executive producer of "DanceLife" with Simon Fields, a partner in Lopez's company, Nuyorican. Rod Aissa and Jesse Ignjatovic are executive producers. Melanie Graham is Executive Producer. Matt Anderson is co-executive producer. Maurissa Tancharoen and Kevin Tancharoen, who are represented by ICM, are co-executive producers. Lopez is represented by the William Morris Agency.
