NEW YORK (Zomba Label Group) - Zomba Label Group, on the heels of scoring a total of 18 Grammy nominations, continues its winning streak and tops the Billboard charts yet again. With the release of Evolution, LaFace recording artist Ciara claims the No 1 spot atop the Billboard album charts and joins her Zomba Label Group mates Jive recording artist Justin Timberlake and Volcano artist Tool.

This release marks the third No 1 album for the Zomba Label Group in 2006 and displays the depth and musical talent that its stable of artists possess. Zomba this year alone has made its mark and earned its kudos with albums ranging from Pop, Dance and R&B to Gospel, Hard Rock, Rap and Comedy.

Multi-platinum artist and GRAMMY winner Ciara strikes it big with her sophomore album, Ciara: The Evolution (La Face/Zomba Label Group), which lands at No 1 on the Billboard 200 today, with sales of 338,447 topping both Eminem and Gwen Stefani. Ciara: The Evolution is the follow-up to 2004's smash 3X platinum album Goodies, Ciara's first album, which spawned three mega-hit singles.

2X GRAMMY winner and Jive recording artist Justin Timberlake earned his No 1 album earlier this year, selling over 684,400 copies in its first week, for his critically acclaimed and nearly 4 million worldwide selling album, FutureSex/LoveSounds. Additionally he broke all digital album sales and went on to dominate the singles charts with "SexyBack" featuring Timberland and "My Love" Featuring T.I. Currently he is preparing to return back to arenas in North America and around the world with the 2007 FutureSex/Love Show world tour. The third single from FutureSex/LoveSounds will be "What Goes Around...Comes Around."

Five years after their multi-platinum selling CD Lateralus, Tool's 4th full-length studio album 10,000 Days (Volcano/Tool Dissectional/ZLG) debuted at No 1 on the Billboard album chart In May with over 560,000 scans. "10,000 Days" has since gone platinum in the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada. The band are nominated for 2 GRAMMY awards; Best Hard Rock Performance category for "Vicarious" and Best Recording Package for 10,000 Days (Adam Jones, art director).

Upcoming Zomba Label Group releases include albums by Britney Spears, Usher, R. Kelly, JC Chasez, Chris Brown, Joe, Papoose, Samantha Jade and Natasha.

Zomba Label Group, and its associated labels, Jive, LaFace, Silvertone, Verity, Volcano, GospoCentric and Violator Records, are home to a diverse group of top entertainers, including: R. Kelly, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Britney Spears, OutKast, Ciara, Chris Brown, P!nk, Three Days Grace, Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter, Joe, JC Chasez, Buddy Guy, Tool, Samantha Jade, Papoose, Natasha and Weird Al Yankovic, as well as celebrated gospel artists Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Hezekiah Walker, Fred Hammond and John P. Kee.
