BURBANK, CA (Reprise Records) - When Neil Young released "Living With War" early last May, it was immediately met with critical acclaim and a passionate response - from both sides of the political spectrum. In the weeks and months to come, the album became a rallying cry for those seeking a change in direction for not only the war in Iraq, but for many other policies and practices of the United States government.

Neil Young's "Living With War" received more acclaim at the Grammy Awards nomination announcements on Thursday, December 7th, when it received nominations for Best Rock Album, and "Lookin' For A Leader" was nominated for Best Rock Song and Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance.

"Living With War" was recorded last spring in an explosive creative burst. "I'm just expressing what many people feel that don't have a voice," Young says. "This comes from years of talking with people about what's going on in this country, and watching belief turn into disbelief."

"Living With War-In The Beginning" is a new CD/DVD version of the album set for release on December 19th and includes the raw trio recordings and original mixes done the day of each session. Featured on the DVD are videos done for each song, along with mini-documentaries filmed at the recording sessions, day by day, as the album was being recorded. The songs of "LWW-In The Beginning" are currently available on iTunes.
