NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) -
Aerosmith has revealed the tracklisting for its still-untitled greatest-hits collection, which is due June 25. The 30-song set will survey the
Boston group's two stints with Columbia Records and its tenure with Geffen Records, featuring 18 titles that made the US top 40.
Two new songs, "Girls Of Summer" and "Lay It Down," are also on the album, along with remixes of three tracks: "Draw The Line," "Pink," and "Just Push Play."
The new set also duplicates 15 tracks from last year's Young Lust: The Aerosmith Anthology, released by Geffen.
Aerosmith--which backed out of a co-headlining tour with Kiss for the summer--is reportedly still planning to hit the road, but so far only a June 27 show in Tokyo during the World Cup soccer tournament has been announced.
The full tracklisting for the greatest-hits set includes:
Disc One - "Mama Kin," "Dream On," "Same Old Song And Dance," "Seasons Of Wither," "Walk This Way," "Big Ten Inch Record," "Sweet Emotion," "Last Child," "Back In The Saddle," "Draw The Line" (remix), "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)," "Angel," "Rag Doll," "Janie's Got A Gun," "Love In An Elevator," and "What It Takes."
