LOS ANGELES (Lifehouse Official) - Lifehouse will release Stanley Climbfall, the follow-up to 2000's No Name Face, on September 17th. The band enlisted No Name producer Ron Aniello once again and recorded the album at Royal Tone studios in Hollywood.

Lifehouse will have a lot to prove with their sophomore album, as No Name Face yielded "Hanging by a Moment," rock radio's most spun song of 2001. But singer-guitarist Jason Wade is confident that the new LP will further establish the band.
"I just think we actually have a sound now," Wade says. "It was our first two years on the road, and I think we've really connected with each other and finally are starting to sound like us, versus just a bunch of songs on a record." And that connection forged on the road carried over in the studio. "The songwriting kind of developed while we were in the studio," Wade says. "All of a sudden we had three or four songs that sounded like a record, and the more we kept working on songs the more it felt like everything fit on the same project."

The success of No Name Face afforded Lifehouse some greater luxuries, but the recording sessions were hardly decadent. "There was a hot tub at the studio," says Wade. "I'm kicking myself for not using it."

Lifehouse will do a brief tour of state and county fairs this August. The dates are as follows:

8/9: Kings Island, Ohio, Paramount's Kings Island
8/10: Charlotte, NC, Paramount's Carowinds
8/11: Doswell, VA, Paramount's Kings Dominion
8/15: Aberdeen, SD, Brown County Fair
8/16: Imperial, NE, Chase County Fair
8/17: Pueblo, CO, Colorado State Fair
8/19: Boise, ID, Western Idaho Fair
8/21: Sacramento, CA, California State Fair
