 New York, NY (Roadrunner Records) - Nickelback, one of the world's biggest selling rock bands, was awarded an American Music Award last week in the category of Favorite Pop/Rock Album for their certified four-times platinum All The Right Reasons. On November 28th the band was named a finalist for the Billboard Music Awards, set to take place in Las Vegas on December 4th and televised live on FOX. The band is recognized in a landmark five categories including artist of the year, rock artist of the year and duo/group of the year. The 2005 release All the Right Reasons is up for album of the year and rock album of the year. The American Music Awards and The Billboard Music Awards finalist announcement follow in the recent string of accolades awarded to the band. On November 15th Nickelback was named the World's Best Rock Band at the World Music Awards and on November 10th the band won the Breakthrough Artist Award at the Billboard Touring Awards.
