LOS ANGEELS (Anders Osborne Official Website, www.andersosbornelive.com) - Grammy winning songwriter and producer Anders Osborne has released a new live album recorded at the legendary Tipitina's in New Orleans on Nov. 17, 2006. Considered one of New Orleans' finest contemporary songwriters (including songs written for artists such as Tim McGraw, Keb' Mo', and Dr. John), Anders Osborne is also a ferocious performer in his own right. His original songs - some of which were recorded for the first time on this album – integrate blues, ballads, roots-rock, and jazz in an intricate musical gumbo. Add to that a healthy dose of spur-of-the-moment jams and improvisations, and you have what has become one of the most revered live performers in the Crescent City.

Appearing on 'Tipitina's Live 2006' with Anders Osborne is band mates Tim Green on sax, Kirk Joseph on sousaphone, and Eric Bolivar on drums. Several guests also appeared on stage throughout the evening, including Andrew J. Forest on harmonica, Hiro Mato on guitar, and Dr. John band member John Fohl on guitar and vocals.

The album – recorded live on digital multi tracks - was produced by MunckMix (www.munckmusic.com) and is available on CDs and downloads at www.AndersOsborneLive.com
