Aspen/Snowmass, CO (ResortQuest Aspen Vacation Rentals) - Legendary UK ska band, The English Beat, will kick off the first free Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series at the base of Aspen Mountain. The English Beat's performance will follow the award ceremony for the Sirius Satellite Radio Aspen Winternational Audi FIS World Cup women's races on Saturday, November 25. Visitors are planning their Aspen vacation and booking Aspen vacation rentals now for concert events.

We're thrilled to kick off this season's Bud Light Hi-Fi Series with The English Beat Prior to The English Beat's performance at 6:30 pm in upper gondola plaza, is the public bib draw for Sunday's women's Slalom race at 6:15 pm and the public awards ceremony for the top three finishers in Friday's FIS women's GS race at 6:00 pm.

With a career spanning 27 years and hits like Mirror in the Bathroom, Save It For Later, and Tears of a Clown, The English Beat is one of the most popular and influential British ska bands.

"We're thrilled to kick off this season's Bud Light Hi-Fi Series with The English Beat" says John Rigney, Managing Director of Event Marketing for Aspen Skiing Company. "I expect this band will draw a great crowd of all ages for what promises to be a super show, and an incredible addition to the Aspen Winternational weekend activities."

The popular FREE Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series, runs from November 26 thru March 22nd, features five free, outdoor concerts held during key events and peak weekends throughout the season. All concerts are held in unique locations in Aspen and Snowmass and announced throughout the season. Booking for The English Beat show as well as all other Bud Light Hi-Fi Concerts for 2006/2007 will be organized through the Belly Up Aspen as part of a new partnership with Aspen/Snowmass. Past performers include P.O.D., The Vandals, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Offspring, Unwritten Law, The Prodigals, Wylde Bunch and Arrested Development. Thanks to our sponsors Bud Light, ResortQuest and Town of Snowmass Village, the remaining concert dates are December 28 and January 25 in Aspen plus February 18 and March 22 in Snowmass. The acts will be announced throughout the season, as they are confirmed.
