Sydney, AU. (SONY BMG MUSIC Entertainment) -- Scottish sensations Franz Ferdinand have dealt out a winning new tune for the new David McKenzie-produced film "Hallam Foe". The track, titled 'Hallam Foe Dandelion Blow', has been described by the band as a "lyrical drunken waltz" and will feature on the soundtrack to the film. Continuing to "make records that girls can dance to", Glaswegian pop rockers Franz Ferdinand have produced a "lyrical drunken waltz" to accompany the upcoming Scottish film "Hallam Foe".

Titled 'Hallam Foe Dandelion Blow', the tune was recorded during the band's most recent tour of Latin America, and it is set to appear on the soundtrack for the David McKenzie-produced flick alongside Sons And Daughters, Psapp and Kieran Hebden (Four Tet).

Based on the book by Scottish author Peter Jinks, "Hallam Foe" is tipped to become a cult classic and will star Billy Elliot's Jamie Bell (remember the cute ballet dude?) in the story of a teenage misfit's struggle to come to terms with his mother's death after he suspects foul play...

As well as sounding good, FF are lookin' good too!
