New York, NY. (Atlantic Records) -- Atlantic Records triumphed at this past weekend's inaugural BET Hip-Hop Awards, with the label's artists taking home a large number of trophies at the first annual event. BET aired the ceremonies - held Sunday at Atlanta's historic Fox Theatre - last night, November 15th.

Grand Hustle/Atlantic recording artist T.I. was the evening's undisputed champion. The ATL-based rapper received the 'Hip-Hop Video of the Year' award for his #1 smash, 'What You Know'; 'Hip-Hop CD of the Year' for his RIAA platinum-selling album, 'KING'; and the prestigious 'Hip-Hop MVP of the Year' prize. What's more, T.I.'s big-screen debut, ATL, was named 'Best Hip-Hop Movie.'

T.I. had been nominated in an extraordinary eight categories, the most of any nominee. In addition to proudly accepting his many trophies, the festivities saw T.I. unleashing an explosive performance of 'Top Back,' pairing up onstage with fellow Grand Hustle artists Young Dro, B.G., and Big Kuntry.

In other news, T.I. celebrated his stunning BET Hip-Hop Awards victory on Monday afternoon with a secret hometown concert at Atlanta's Underground. The free show saw the King of the South - along with members of the Grand Hustle family - launching Microsoft's new Zune digital audio player before an enthralled downtown crowd. T.I. is also the first major label rap artist to have 1 million friends on MySpace.
