Coheed & Cambria will release their first ever live DVD titled 'The Last Supper: Live At Hammerstein Ballroom' and to get you all as amped as they are about this excellent new C&C release, vocalist and guitarist Claudio Sanchez has sent fans a special message:
Dear Friends,
It is a very special day for us!
Our new DVD "The Last Supper: Live at the Hammerstein Ballroom" is in stores today! This was recorded on the last stop of this year's spring tour, in New York City. Coming home to NY is always a good time for us, and we feel privileged to have captured those moments in our lives that we'll now have forever to share with all of you!
It is a very special day for me in particular, because The Prize Fighter Inferno's "My Brother's Blood Machine" is also in stores today! This record has been a long time coming, it encompasses about 8 years of ideas, mostly just me messing around in my free time that turned into something I'm really proud of.
We hope that you will go and check both of these releases out, and please leave us comments on Myspace and let us know what you think!
-Claudio
'The Last Supper: Live At Hammerstein Ballroom' is Coheed & Cambria's first live DVD and captures their incredible gig at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. With an awesome camera function that lets you see all aspects of the band's musical and visual aesthetic, you'll be placed front-row, center stage for the concert's state-of-the-art sets, lights and production.
The line-up includes tracks from their highly-acclaimed albums 'Blood Red Summer', 'A Favor House Atlantic', 'The Suffering' and 'Welcome Home', as well as the very cool videos for 'Welcome Home', 'The Suffering' and 'Ten Speed (Of God's Blood & Burial)'. Plus there's behind-the-scenes footage, exclusive C&C interviews, footage of the band prepping for the concert, fan's eye views and more - in all, another Coheed essential, especially if you caught one of their sell-out gigs here earlier this year.
