SONGWRITERS BOOTCAMP
The day before the Summit, on Thursday, MARCH 29, 2007 CMS Productions will hold their SONGWRITERS BOOTCAMP.
The CMS Songwriter Boot Camp is an intensive day of workshops and clinics for serious songwriters as well as folks who desire to improve their craft by learning from the best. We are limiting the space in order to maintain a small student to teacher ratio (10:1).
Each registrant will be assigned to a group. This group will go together to Sessions 1 & 2, as well as a Song Critiquing Session in the afternoon. We will assign groups to instructors. These instructors will be different from Session 1 to Session 2, as well as the Song Critiquing Session.
Clinicians signed on so far are: Charlie Peacock (- Grammy Award-winning producer/songwriter/singer), Rick Cua (Producer/songwriter/singer), Casey McGinty (VP of Publishing, EMI CMG), Steve Merkle (Senior A&R rep for Integrity Music), Steve Rice (Brentwood Benson Publishing), Alex MacDougall (Maranatha Music), . Check back as we get closer, this list will be filled with excellent folks! Thursday evening will feature a FREE (for Bootcamp and CIA Summit attendees) concert by some of the very best artists and songwriters in CCM.
