DMB encourages fight against Bush energy plan

(Launch) - The Dave Matthews Band is encouraging fans to rebuff President George W. Bush's proposed national energy policy. The group is making its stance via a link from its official Web site to the Save Our Environment Action Center, which refers to the president's plan as the "Drill America First" policy.

"President Bush's proposed energy strategy will not help consumers, but would undermine basic environmental and public health protections to benefit the administration's coal, oil and nuclear allies", the site's introduction reads. It then provides readers with a form letter to send to their senators expressing the same message.
