London, UK (Sony BMG Music Entertainment UK) - Chi-Town rapper Rhymefest will have a showdown with Conservative Party leader, David Cameron in the House of Commons this week. 'Fest will be acting as an international spokesman for Hip-Hop culture on 19th October, as he seeks to change Cameron's views on the music which the Tory leader stated 'encourages people to carry knives and guns'. The leader of the opposition was particularly critical of Tim Westwood's Radio 1 Rap show, but graciously accepted an open letter from Rhymefest to sit down 'over a cup of tea' and convince him that there is more to rap than the negative aspects that he perceives. MTV and BBC will film the meeting.
