NEW YORK, NY (Atlantic Records) - In the most soul-baring, confessional interview of his career, Bad Boy CEO and recording artist Diddy reveals never talked-about details of his life on "Black And White: A Portrait Of Sean Combs." Directed by award-winning filmmaker Derek Cianfrance and shot entirely in black and white, the extraordinary television documentary will premiere October 19th at 8 pm ET on BET.

"Black And White" was filmed in the course of a single interview that took place between 12 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on July 22, 2006. It features Diddy alone on camera, as he frankly exposes for the first time his most intimate recollections and candid feelings about his remarkable life. Emotionally gripping and visually riveting, the film captures Combs openly reflecting on such subjects as the murder of his father, the loss of his virginity, the death of his closest friend Biggie, the tragedies that have surrounded him and the dreams that he has made reality.

"Derek brought things out of me that I had never spoken about publicly before," says Diddy. "We talked for hours that night, until the sun came up, and it became very much about the raw emotions I was feeling and the thoughts I had never expressed. It was one of the most powerful and moving experiences of my life."

Due in stores on October 17th, Diddy's "PRESS PLAY" is the Grammy-winning superstar's first solo collection in five years. The Diddy-produced first single, "Come To Me," featuring Nicole Scherzinger from The Pussycat Dolls, has exploded at radio across the country. The song has bulleted into the top ten at Rap radio nationwide, and is rapidly climbing up the Urban and Rhythmic charts.

A year in the making, "PRESS PLAY" finds Diddy joined by a who's who of contemporary artists and producers. Among the guest performers are: Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, Big Boi, Timbaland, Brandy, Cee-Lo, Ciara, Keyshia Cole, Nas, Twista, and more. Diddy was joined on the production side by such studio stars as Kanye West, Just Blaze, Pharrell Williams, Havoc from Mobb Deep, Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas, and Rich Harrison, among others.

"PRESS PLAY" comes nearly a decade after Diddy released his first solo project, the No 1, seven-time RIAA platinum "NO WAY OUT" - which earned Grammy Awards for "Best Rap Album" and "Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group" (for the classic "I'll Be Missing You"). In 2004, he earned his third Grammy Award as an artist, for "Shake Ya Tailfeather," with Nelly and Murphy Lee, from the "Bad Boys II" soundtrack.
