Jacksonville, FL (By D Marley/ www.myspace.com/swordz904) - In its annual "Patiently Waiting" issue Ozone Magazine picks Florida's SWORDZ as one of its top unsigned prospects to watch for in Southern Hip-Hop for 2006. Each year Ozone Magazine polls taste makers, prominent DJs and producers, and impact radio stations through out the South in order to discover the next big artist expected to have break through years.

Calling SWORDZ a "Superstar in the making," the Ozone Magazine feature is a critical piece of publicity in launching Southern Hip-Hop's next crop of stars. Former "Patiently Waiting" artist include Akon (2003), Paul Wall (2003), Chamillionaire (2004), Young Jeezy (2004), Yung Joc (2005) to name a few.

The article recognizes SWORDZ as a diamond in the rough and highlights his reputation for putting on one of the best live shows in the Southern underground scene. "Known to regularly perform with a live rock band rather than have the standard 100 man crew on stage." SWORDZ comments "I do it because I can," dismissing the claim that he is mimicking Limp Bizkit and Korn.

Recently, SWORDZ has made headlines with his newest single and video for "Weatherman" which continues to gain airplay and high profile mixtape placement including DJ Smallz Southern Smoke and DJ Bigga Rankin's WRNR Mixtapes. The song is fast becoming the artist's signature song and has been downloaded over 5000 times on his Myspace site is less than a month's time.
