SYDNEY, Australia (Blue Pie Productions/ www.bigdealinc.com.au) - Countdown has begun for the October 7 release of Billy Lofton's EP Baby I love your way'. Billy brings a quality entirely of his own to Peter Frampton's original pop classic by adding his voice of velvet to the succulent sounds of urban groove. Together with producer Richie Robinson of Farkaster', Billy has brought the metaphor of the album to life by dishing up a rare feast of R&B pop magic. Born in New York, Billy was inspired by the gospel music at his local church and by 14 started auditioning for stage roles, urged on by his cousin Aretha Franklin. She took him to audition as a dancer for a show and ended up with a lead role, which led him to roles in Broadway productions of Jesus Christ Superstar and Godspell. Billy moved to Australia in the late 80's. He started to perform in various clubs in the early 90's touring nationally and internationally and linked to many artists including Lou Rawla and Billy Ocean. Billy's youthful energy and tenderness at the same time is like nothing else we have heard at Blue Pie. CEO of Emporium Music, Dimitri Pavicevic has united with Blue Pie to assist in the release of Lofton's EP and forthcoming album 'Love's no longer being served'.
